During New York Fashion Week, Coach presented the perfect mix between casual cloths, colour and retro graphics. Showed in a loft of Time Square and in the tune of the Blondie and her punk rock/garage band The Coathangers, the new collection of Coach is a road trip through the American culture where the easy-going style is perfectly combined with the New Yorker pop style. 

This time Coach realized new items recalling the New York culture of the late ‘70s and ‘80s and taking inspiration from Basquiat. Jean-Michel Basquiat was a pop icon, artist, and musician. Although his short life, the American artist change an entire generation with his art “focused on suggestive dichotomies such as wealth versus poverty, integration versus segregation, and inner versus outer experience”. The company’s Creative Director, Stuart Vevers influenced by the artist defined him as the “ultimate cultural icon and a symbol of the unorthodox creativity that is nurtured in a place like New York”.

The American fashion company once again shows its interest in exploring new collaboration and ways of creativity. Indeed Basquiat street style graphic and graffiti characterize jackets, bags, sweaters and give to the collection a unique personality.
